Something funny to brighten up the day with...

50 Things YOU can learn from Korean dramas

1) Hot, rich, younger men love fat, older vulgar women.

2) If you have a best guy friend, he is in love with you. And secretly you are too.

3) You and your boyfriend will always playfully chase each other on an ice rink, at the beach, or in the leaves. And you'll laugh for no reason and your boyfriend will hit you "playfully" but the force of his push will have you flying across the room. But it's okay. Cuz you're still laughing like a crazy person.

4) Brothers/cousin/uncles-newphews will always love the same girl.

5) You're allowed to make u-turns wherever you want in Korea. And there is never traffic on the side you want to u-turn to.

6) There is a super quick payment device that allows you to pay a bill quickly enough for a guy to run immediately out of a restaurant after his angry girlfriend storms out.

7) Everyone has cancer.

8) If you're sick, all you need is an IV to make you feel lots better.

9) There is vomit and urine all over Seoul at nights.

10) Fighting at a pojangmacha with a random stranger is merely part of a normal night's event.

11) Soju must cost 10 cents. Everyone drinks it everyday all the time, especially the poor people.<I still dont get why thats all they drink in dramas

12) If you're rich, you're a jerk.

13) If you're poor, you're an angel.

14) Women sleep and wake up with a full set of makeup on.

15) You're not studying hard enough unless you get a nosebleed.

16) If you have a nosebleed, you most definitely have cancer. And you have no money to pay for the surgery that will save your life. And your liver is missing. We're not sure where it went, but it's making your cancer progress faster.

17) If you work in a sool jeep, you have massively curly hair and wear flashy colors from the early 90's.

18) You always order orange juice or coffee at a cafe. And you never drink it. EVER.< they drink almost as much as soju

19) You will always call your boyfriend by his job title. Or simply sunbaenim. Never his name. Never. He doesn't have one.

20) If you TRULY love each other, you must die together in the end. Frozen outside instead of finding shelter like sane people. Just frozen....

21) You go to America you come back miraculously successful. You go to England you come back amazingly fashionable. You stay in Korea the only thing that changes is your hairstyle.

22) And if you come back with no apparent reason then it's because you have cancer.

23) Everyone always goes to the same hospital no matter where they are.

24) If you stand out in the rain for more than five minutes, you'll end up with a fever and vertigo and people will rush you to the hospital to get some magic IV. And instead of taking an ambulance or driving they'll race you on their back.

25) Even if you're poor and can't eat, you never wear the same clothes twice.

26) If you play a poor kid, you always have dirt on your face and your hair is always messy.

27) If you're saving someone from being hit from a car, you'll push them out of the way and wait for the car to hit you instead. couldnt be more true, theyre like a deer in headlights

28) Everyone has a long lost sister/brother/twin. Usually one they didn't know about.

29) If you don't want to answer your phone, you can just turn it off. The battery
needs to be taken out.

30) All korean men can drink hard, smoke long, sing well and play piano. Usually all at the same time. And at the same restaurant that has a piano that they let anyone use.

31) If you're in a relationship, you must at one point leave and have your lover tearfully come RIGHT before you board the plane (vice versa applies as well. You can be the chaser). 60% of the time you see each other, the other 40% you're roaming around in circles and pass each other about six times, but miraculously never see them.

32) If you're getting off a plane, you're ALWAYS wearing sunglasses. ALWAYS.

33) All guys wear hideous tracksuits zipped up to their neck. Even if all they're doing is jump roping.

34) Girls will always storm off because they're mad and the guy will stoically grab them by the arm and swing them back- and by magic, not dislocate their shoulders.

35) Guys always look like they're 6 feet tall, even if they're only 5'10. Thank you camera angles.

36) Guys like to wear foundation, eyeliner and sometimes a smudge of lipliner.

37) You always get stuck in an elevator with someone who makes you feel uncomfortable. Even if there are six different elevators, you'll always be stuck in the same one with that bastard you hate (or just fought with).

38) Unless you're fabulously rich, your in-laws will always hate you

39) So will your sister-in-law.

40) Your brother-in-law might be pining away for you. >

41) There are only 2 ways to kiss. You either press your lips against theirs with your mouth completely shut, and just press away for a very long and uncomfortable time. OR you devour the other person and suck out their soul. In both instances, the world spins.

42) A guy will always get the right size ring, even if you're never held hands.

43) People stare off into space and ponder a lot. They'll just stop in the middle of the road and watch a leaf on a tree for a good three minutes, and just ponder.

44) You'll get pregnant the first time you have sex.

45) You'll get pregnant if he kisses you on the forehead.

46) Hell- you'll get pregnant if you hold hands.

47) If you overcome great obstacles to be together, one of you must die. Probably due to cancer.

48) One korean man can kick the butts of 6 gangstas. Especially when they all stand in a circle and attack the guy one by one. Then when each of them get their butts OWNED, they wise up and attack the guy at the same time. Then the guy will get pulverized and bleed out onto the dusty concrete floor of the empty warehouse they've found to fight in. There will be a fire in a trashcan somewhere. And the girl will have watched this the entire time, screaming in horror. Instead of calling 119, she'll just watch and cry. But it's okay. Cuz the next day the guy will be fine with a few random bandages and a few face scars. But never a black eye.

49) It ain't a real fight unless the gangstas fight dirty with a stick or switchblade.

50) If you study in the states (preferably Harvard), you are one of the top students and can speak perfect English (as assumed by the reactions of those around you). Why the rest of the world OUTSIDE of the TV can't understand a single word uttered out of your melodramatic mouth is beyond me.

Hm... I'll be going home for a whole week!  I'm excited, and not at the same time.  I really want to go spend some time with mom and dad.  And everyone else back home.  I see them almost every weekend now, because of the wedding planning and everything, but that seems to be the only thing we do.  We haven't just been able to go out and just hang out in a long while.  EVERYTHING is about the wedding.  I don't mind the wedding, its fun, and gives me something to do... but I just feel like its consuming the whole family!  I know dad's pissed to hell at everyone right now, mom is on the verge of hysteria, brother is being extremely melodramatic, nyab isn't saying anything, Ta is covering all our asses, Blia has her own problems to deal with, Yin is paying for everything, Chuang doesn't seem excited anymore, Sheng is always out of the dish, and I... I don't know whats wrong with me, not that there isn't anything wrong with me, cause there sure as hell is.  But I honestly don't know whats going on with me compared to everyone else.  I'm just being me, trying to help, trying to do my stuff, but lacking at the same time.

I want to help everyone.  Gosh...

However, that's not going to kill my week.  I'm going to go home, help everyone do there things, and hopefully since I'll be away from the internet, I'll get some stuff done, too!  Also I promised mom I'd make her some meatloaf!  I'm getting better at it!  Although, I'm not sure how much mom and dad will like it... and I know Sheng will eat it, but if I put veggies in it, theres no way in hell Lance will eat it.  But hell, that just means more for us!  Haha.  And I'm thinking seriously thinking about going to Ta's on Monday and Tuesday.  Although I honestly don't know what I'm going to do while they're all gone... Ta will be at work and the kids will all be at school.  Unless I just sleep all day... that has its own appeal!  And the reason for Monday and Tuesday is because of, of course, Boys Over Flowers!

This week's episode was and wasn't a let down.  Since there was only 1, and the F4 special, which I hfinally got subs for, it wasn't so bad.  We get to see F4 all smiles and cuteness, and then in episode 17 we see the drama happening between the Jun Pyo and Jan Di pair.  When will this pain end?!  I honestly hope they end it in next week's episodes.  Because we don't honestly want them to drag it out, now do we?  Alot of people are talking negativily about Jun Pyo, and I admit I'm a little sad too, but if you honsestly think about it, his situation, his mother, his life style, it would have been unavoidable.  However much I agree with his side, I feel that Jae Kyung isn't my cup of tea.  I like her, she's cute and daring, but her character takes over Jan Di too much.  She's so dense!  I hate that part about her so much.  I honestly wish the best for her, but not with my Jun Pyo.  Alot of people on forums and stuff say that if Jun Pyo would have met Jae Kyung before Jan Di, he would have fallen for Jae Kyung... I don't think so.  The whole idea of this relationship between Jun Pyo and Jan Di is like their meant to be...  They have this attachment to each other thats destined.  Its like a radar built into their bodies to just be together.  Why do you think that Jan Di, when Jae Kyung asked about her first love, she didn't mention Ji Hoo, although supposedly he is her first love, but in her heart, she's fully given it to Jun Pyo already.  That entirety is why their love can't be altered, why it can't be changed, why it can't separate them... Okay.

Have a great weekend everyone!

Today's episode of Boys Over Flowers (13) was sad and disappointing.  I admit it had its good moments, like Ji Hoo taking care of Jan Di, all the time, literally.  There was the part where Ji Hoo askes the unknown Mr. Jung to not let anyone know that he was the one helping Jan Di's parents get a job.  And when he always arrives at the pool to see Jan Di and takes her to do a video message to the MIA Goo Jun Pyo.  Then stealing Jan Di away to take her to the check out her shoulder, then back at the pool saying he'd help her through it all!  Gosh, this guy is unreal.  Howcome in reality we don't have any white conductor suits, wearing guys?!?!  He does so much for her in this episode, and his acting has gotten so much better.  However I feel that in this next episode, since it was prerecorded already, because they had gone to "New Caladonia" then to "Macau" or their 2nd shooting place; but like I was saying, I'm afriad Ji Hoo's acting will be bad in this part because it was so early on... we'll see tomorrow!  Also the Ga Eul and Yi Jung moments, when she goes to see him in his shop/studio and his working away on his potter's wheel, then after a century of looking at his "skills", without missing a beat he askes, "Am I that handsome?" ruining Ga Eul's love stare.  Haha.  I laughed like crazy at that.  But I would have done the same thing.  Another moment was when Ga Eul and Jan Di are trying to sell all of the porriage outside, and F3 arrives to help, Yi Jung askes "You'll take full responsibility?" and Ga Eul answers "Of cour--" and looks up to see Yi Jung grinning at her.  Gosh, F3 sure knows how to make an entrance!@#$  Also when Jan Di was in Macau and gets tricked by that slimy kid, they come and save her, although she screams out for Goo Jun Pyo.  I love how Woo Bin is like the ass kicker of them, like in episode 12 where his the one with all the awesome fighting shots when they bust in to save Jan Di and Jun Pyo.  Haha.  But his "Prince Song", now that was a little strange, but funny, because his family is suppose to be connected with the mafia of Asia or something like that!  Haha.  Anyways... if you haven't noticed I'm only talking about the good and happy scenes, not the depressing ones... yet!  I also love the part where F3 and Jan Di go and explore around Macau.  I love the scene where they are at the mask shop, and trying all the different ones on.  Then it does does an around shot of everyone revealing themselves behind the mask!  Gosh, they looked good, F3~!  Too bad Jun Pyo aren't in any of these fun shots.  I wonder what he was doing during this shoot, behind the scenes, I mean.  Hm... Anyways, those were so pretty great moments.  And my favorite moment, although it was sad, was when after selling the porriage, F3, Ga Eul, and Jan Di go to the school's pool to watch her last swim.  It was sad because she was "retiring" and watching Ga Eul's eyes turn red, I couldn't help myself either.  Oh and then Yi Jung being so aware of Ga Eul realize she was crying, so he hands over a hankerchif to her, a very pretty one too I might add.  And then after her swim F3 grants her an award for being a strong swimmer, the tamer of Jun Pyo, and for having the will of a weed!  The love of F3 for this girl is amazing, plus the other one, Jun Pyo as well...

Now onto the sad moment...  I don't know what to say really.  I knew what was suppose to happen, and I've even seen a preview of it.  But it just hurts to see this unfold so soon after hearing Jun Pyo saying "I'll be back soon.  Don't move an inch, and wait for me.  I love you, Geum Jan Di."  Gosh... his voice was so sad and sweet.

Then when we finally have a Jan Di and Jun Pyo moment... its one of the most heartbreaking things ever.  Jan Di walking into a bar, and sees him, her love, with another woman.  A beautiful, rich I'm betting, woman and his smiling and whispering to her back and forth.  What would you do if you were Jan Di seeing this?!  I know I would have shed a tear or two, and walked away as fast as possible... maybe.  Then clumsy Jan Di, in her rush to leave this horrid sight, is bumbed into by another woman and gets wine spilt on her shirt.  The normal reaction would be to excuse yourself and exchange apologizes with the other person, but Jan Di's first reaction is to look over at Jun Pyo, who inturn turns to look at her, in the most painful look we've seen yet!  He stares, his eyes seem so alive and dead at the same time.  It hurt, I'd bet, to be in his position and Jan Di's.  Then Jun Pyo turns away, as if he'd only seen a random person.  Gosh!  This was so sad because then Jan Di runs to the bathroom trying to psych herself out of believing that he would react that way, that he didn't see her, wouldn't think it was her.  Gosh!@#$ I can't wait for tomorrow soon enough... but I'm going to dread watching what he says to her and to see his pained expression when Ji Hoo is carrying Jan Di on his back...

And my withdrawal of Jun Pyo, I hope it is fixed by tomorrow, because I will not be the same this week if I don't get to see more of him.  I hope they show his worry of Jan Di, too.  Show him hurt down to the bone because of her.  And maybe a scene where his looking at his phone and then you see Jan Di's picture there.  That would save my heart a little, until everything is well with the two of them.

Why is fate messing with these two?!?!  I know why, its because its a damn drama!  Gosh.  Okay... I just need to quit blabbing and wait for tomorrow to come.  I hope subs get up fast tomorrow, and if not, I'll be patient.

I honestly forgot that today, as in February 12th, was the 18th Seoul Music Awards!  It will start at 5:00 PM, Korea time, and that means in North Carolina at 3:00 AM!  Thats only an hour and 5 minutes until game time... or well music time.  And its going to have appearances by many, many artist, including my two very favorite, TVXQ&SHINee!!!!  I hope they do performances.  Oh how I hope they do!  But if they do, what would they perform... I hope DBSK performs Bolero!  But since its in Japanese, I doubt it, but maybe Mirotic!  And SHINee... hm... probably Replay or Amigo, more than likely, but wouldn't it be great if they sang Stand By Me?!  Oh!  How the time is so slow... Can't wait.

I knew on the episode where Jun Pyo and Jan Di go on their date and get locked in the rope lift that Jun Pyo wrote something... but no one really talked about, but I know I sure did.  I told everyone!  And now its been revealed.  Yay.  I'm so excited to know, KNOW, what exactly it says.   Because of course I can't read Hangul.  But I knew it all along... and I'm so happy ^__^  >_<  =)  Haha.  Episode 8 is by far one of the funnier and cuter episodes I've seen so far.   And I loved it.  Couldn't help laughing at everything, especially at Jun Pyo being so silly and cute.  Ah, a man in love is really LOVE.  Of course I can't wait for next week, and I'm sad they didnt show a better preview, but I'm pretty satisfied with this "cliffhanger" because it makes me happy... but its happy now, I have a feeling the drama is just about to start... with the MOTHER!  Oh no... I dread these because I wish the mother would go !@##$%%^$#@$%^^$ but it also shows the relationship between the two lovers.  Ah!  Okay.  I'm not going to spoil anything I promise.  Can't wait for Arashi to sub this today.  Ah!@#$%

Lately I've been seeing a lot of pictures of Korean Idols and Stars wearing the traditional hanbok, and "saying Happy New Year".  And I've always wondered when this occured, why, and so on... So I decided to google Korean New Year 2009, and found that Koreans celebrate the Lunar New Year.  That doesn't mean they don't celebrate the solar New Year, which is what we all know as January 1st, because they do, and they have big concerts and everything.  But the Lunar New Year is, I suppose, tradition for the Koreans.  And that happens to be this weekend!  I'm not sure the exact date, if its Sunday or Monday, but that alot of New Year activities is going on.  And its not just Korea that celebrates the Lunar New Year... no, there is also, Mongolia, China, Tibet, and Vietnam.  In Korea, what they do is they spend time with family and put on traditional hanboks and perform some rituals in the morning.  Koreans usually pay their respects to their parents and grandparents by doing a traditional bow and wish them good fortune for the new year.  And also familys play folk games such as Yut, and even Go-Stop, a card game that they play in alot of Korean Dramas.

This was fun, looking it up and stuff.  I've always wanted to own a hanbok too.  Maybe one day I'll go to Korea and buy myself a very colorful and beautiful hanbok!

Both of my favorite characters off the new drama Boys Over Flowers, Lee Min Ho and Kim Bum, have been nominated for Best New Male Actor for the 44th Annual Baeksang Arts Awards.  The event will take place on February 27th (one day before my birthday!!).  Lee Min Ho is nominated for his role as Goo Jun Pyo in Boys Over Flowers, my leading man!  And Kim Bum is nominated for his role in East Of Eden as the young Song Seung Hun.  I'm in love with the both of them, and good luck to them as well.  I hope one of them gets it, that would be a great birthday present, wouldn't it.  Haha.

I read on KPOP JJANG that after this weekend SHINee will be ending their first album activities.  So that means no more Amigo, no more Replay, no more Love Like Oxygen, no more Love Should Go On, no more Romantic, no more SHINee performances for a long time... I think I'm going to cry!!  What am I going to do without no SHINee, and hardly any coverage of DBSK either.  AH! I'm going to cry.  Really.  And I just watched them performing on KBS's Music Bank, and they'll be on tomorrow on MBC's Music Core.  And so I'm guessing the rumors about SM Entertainment not being able to perform on KBS isn't true... because SHINee just did for their Ending Stage... and I think thats whats its called.  But then again, it might just be because they are leaving that it was a special event to end on KBS... anyways.  I am really sad but also excited too because that means a new album is coming out!!!  YAY for that!!!

SM Entertainment said, “The boys will rest for a short period before they start working on their new album. There will be no free period for them in between. Please look forward to a new SHINee.”

So I got sick yesterday... it sucks so much.  I went to class, and had to come home early.  Man... it turns out that everyone, Chuang, Blia, Yao, and I, are all sick in some form or another.  And its all thanks to Duncan I think.  Because his been sick the past couple of weeks.  And Sou had gotten sick too, but he was already sick before this past weekend.  I haven't had the energy to do anything today... spent the whole time in bed, and thats why I'm just now blogging...  So tired.  My body is so weak at the moment, and my I have a spliting headache.  When will it stop?!

This weekend was... exhausting!  I arrived back in Morganton around 9:00 pm and when I walked into the door, all the lights were on and everyone was talking at once.  That's what I call home.  Well everyone came to give me hugs, and I finally got through the door to put my stuff down.  We all hung out and planned for the wedding till 1:30 in the morning and we all needed to get to bed because we needed to be up early for our family thing.  So its been a while since my sister, Chuang, has left her kid, Duncan, stay with us for a whole night.  He slept with me, since I was the only one willing to put up with it, and it wasn't too bad.  He's not use to sleeping without his parents, but he had to put up with it.  A 2 yr old up at 1:30 am isnt a good thing, I know.  But he wanted to stay up with his older cousins, because he hardly gets to play with them.

The next morning everyone wakes up, and when I finally get into the shower, the water ran almost cold, but thank god that the whole house was nice and toasty thanks to my dad (he had a fire going in the wood stove, downstairs) that it didn't bother me much!  But the whole day was... so tiring.  We were instantly thrown into the old routine of chopping up veggies and meat, burning candles and smoky insinses, and kids running around in the cold.  It was icy all day and then later that night it got windy too, that was when I couldn't stand it anymore.  But we labored all day and were rewarded with cake and icecream!  Yes, ice cream in the cold... well not really because we were in the house, and it was stuffy with everyone crowded in the rooms together.  And the cake was for my nephew Duncan, who did turn 2, just today.  We served it to everyone, and we actually finish the whole cake and big gallon of ice cream!  It was amazing.  Then after that my cousin Kong, Happy Birthday btw, his birthday is today too, and he is 21 today, decided to have a birthday party out of the blue back at his place.  So later that night at 9, we all decided to meet up, and get... happy with bitter juice.

We, Paj, Sheng, Sarina, and I, armed with 3 bottles of bitter juice, plus a 12 pack of Red Bull.  It was going to be a great night.  Eventually everyone showed up, just a bunch of cousins (we're a big, ole family!) and it was awkward at first because we were all segregated, guys and girls.  We were all just sitting with our casuals and talking about everything we could think of, catching up.  Then the guys come and then the race of the bitter juice began.  One after another, toast were being made and drinks pasted around.  It was so fun!  Everyone had such a good time.  We were playing card games, taking loads of pictures, which I'll post later when I get them from Kong or Sheng, and talking mad shit too one another!  It was great.  There was the Bathroom Party, there was the Red Room Rave, there was the Crying Duets, and there was the Marker Mania!  There was so much going on.  Some of the highlights of the night were...  taking the big group picture.  That was alot of fun, and I hope they turn out super great!  Paj, Chuey, Sheng, and I are the last three chickas in our families, so we made a long, drawn out speech together in the bathroom, where Jen was trying to finish dying Mary's, another cousin's, hair, and Blia, my sister, was in there... actually there wasn't a reason why, really.  Anyways, we were being so loud and everyone was banging on the door and everything was all crazy!  There was Paj and 'Mario's dance... that was... too rated to speak about again!  And of course the promise of a... cake.  Haha... we'll wait till its my birthday before we talk about that one.  Haha!  Then Lance, Sheng's white boyfriend (I have to point the 'white' part out, to make you understand these jokes)  he had just gotten there from work, and Mary loves to pick on him, as do I.  Well I can't remember what was going on, but a few of us were in the kitchen, and I was munching on some of the snacks, I'm a huge muncher, and then Lance is standing there and his talking his normal smack to me, and I to him, then he said something, my memory is failing me, but I look down into the snacks and pick something up.  I turn to Lance and say, "WELL Lance," pause, "this is what I do to crackers!" and I take that Ritz cracker and take a big bite into it.  He stops and it looks as if his going to cry, and he couldn't come back.  It was rather... racist, but it was a big joke on Lance.  Lance then whines, "Thats messed up!" and I enjoy my victory.  Everyone thought it was pretty funny.  Then there was this once where I was getting worned out and I had to sit down, and there was a bowl of chex mix.  So the bowl in my lap, I was just observing everything around, enjoying the chex mix. Then Lance comes over to talk to Jen, and mentions something about his friends saying, "Why are you drinking with Asians?" of course no one is offended, and they exchange a couple more words then I add an imput, "Lance, Lance," he turns to me and I say, "You should tell them... 'because their crackers aren't salty enough'."  Then Lance and Jen both bust out laughing!  And you have to know, I'm kinda out of my mind at the moment, so I didnt even think it was that funny, and then Lance had to give me a hi-5 because it was too great, and so did Jen.  So then I realize, "Oh, I guess it was funny!"  And so we ended up telling everyone, Blia and Kong, my brother, almost fell on their asses laughing.  It might not seem that amusing now, but if you were there, it was the most hilarious thing that night.  Another highlight was when Paj was singing to Ivan, my cousin Yee's kid.  He was so funny because he was covering his ears with a hand and a ball and Paj was just singing her heart out... badly.  Haha!  Then around 11:30 pm, Kong, my cousin, passes out!  Its wasn't even his birthday yet!  So guess what everyone did?!  We wrote on him!  Haha!  with permanet marks of course.  It was hilarious, but by this time, everyone's camera was dead, however, I do have some on my phone, but my phone, I was smart and left it at home.  It was so funny because one time Paj was writing around his foot and ankle area, Kong moves around and says, "Stop, leave my ankles alone!  I need them for soccer!"  and he also said stuff along the lines of, "I can't play soccer injured!" and "I can't go in injured!  I can't play soccer anymore!"  it was hilarious!  I hope he wasn't mad at us when he woke up this morning, to find that he'd become a gangster pirate.  Haha!  Then there was the Marker Mania!  That was crazy!  After the attack on Kong we spent the rest of the night in fear of the worse, getting bullied on by everyone and marked all over our faces!  It was too crazy for words.  But it was a shit load of fun.

The night ended with Kong (cousin) knocked out, Shu going AWOL, Kong (brother) most sucessful mark of the night, and everyone on a good high, not like drugs, but happy.  It was a grand night.  We won't have one of those for long while, I'll bet.  Maybe my birthday will be next, or maybe the wedding!  But this weekend was great.  I love my family.

Everything mentioned in this blog is for myself.  If you get offend, I'm sorry, everything is merely a big joke.

Flightless Bird, American Mouth
Iron & Wine

I was a quick wet boy diving too deep for coins
All of your street light eyes wide on my plastic toys
Then when the cops closed the fair, I cut my long baby hair
Stole me a dog-eared map and called for you everywhere </p>

Have I found you
Flightless bird, jealous, weeping or lost you, American mouth
Big pill looming

Now I'm a fat house cat
Nursing my sore blunt tongue
Watching the warm poison rats curl through the wide fence cracks
Pissing on magazine photos
Those fishing lures thrown in the cold
And clean blood of Christ mountain stream

Have I found you
Flightless bird, grounded, bleeding or lost you, American mouth
Big pill stuck going down

This is one of my favorite songs off of the Twilight Soundtrack.  Its a rather bittersweet song.

I have approximately 11 weeks until my brother and sister-in-law's official wedding/reception.

I know I mentioned in my first post that I was living with my brother and his wife, and its true.  Its just that we haven't had an actual Hmong wedding yet, nor a party for them.  That's why I have 11 weeks until then.  This weekend we're going home for a family thing and for planning.  Mad planning, because we hardly go home, usually its like twice a month.  That might seem like a lot, 2 weekends out of a month, not so bad.  But you can really see the difference in the long run.  Anyways they've, my brother Kong and sister-in-law Jen, need to decide on colors!  This is the most important thing besides the bride's dress.  Anyways... you're probably wondering why I need to diet.  Well duh!  Who doesn't want to diet, but my sisters and I have found a good reason to diet and to forward to.  Yes, its pretty lame, but hell, wouldn't you want to look good for a wedding while wearing a bridesmaid dress?!  And luckily Jen is nice and we have a say in our dresses!  So that's the plans for this weekend.  Wedding planning and trying to diet.

This really reminds me of one of my favorite books, Bet Me, by Jennifer Cruise.  And isn't that something... Jen and Jennifer!  Ha!

One thing I love to listen to when I'm feeling down, as of late, is the "HaHaHa Song" sang by DBSK! These commercials are full of silliness and hottest rolled up into one! This is the latest video of the DBSK guys singing an A Capella of it. This boys are amazing. They can sing, dance, and look good in white suits and pastel shirts! I wished thou that the song wasn't pre-recorded and put over. It would of match with the other versions better if they did it live... but its okay! It was still amazing. My favorite parts are when Jaejoong finishes his solo in the beginning and then they all come in with the "Bah! Bah!" Haha~~! And when Yunho's doing his "dum dum" and his "doo-doo-bah-die".

^__^

Shattered

He’s miserable, period
Overwhelmed by the slightest decisions
Can’t help but find and feel
His mind racing away

His soul, it’s captivated by shadows
His energy, weak to its limit
This weight steady in his hand
Like cold, solid metal

It might be just as simple
As one, two, and three
Pulling away and release
Empty, his found to be
